 Deacon Donald Higby will be giving a five part course entitled “The Odd Gospel of John” beginning Thursday, March 7.

The class will meet from 7-8 pm in the Parish Center for five consecutive Thursdays. Dates are March 7, 14, 21, 28 & April 4. 

There is no cost, but please rsvp to the Parish Office so adequate course materials can be provided.

 2019 SHAMROCK CELEBRATION - MARCH 10, 12:30-3:30pm

 St. Mary’s Parish in Longmeadow is hosting its Annual Shamrock Celebration in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, on Sunday, March 10th from 12:30 – 3:30. The event will be held in the Father Forhan auditorium in St. Mary’s Academy, and is open to the public.  The event is free and includes Irish soup and soda bread, drink and dessert.  This year, we will offer the entertaining Irish Dancers, Irishman Jimmy McArdle and his band, raffle contests, door prizes, as well as face painting and arts and crafts for the younger crowd.  All are welcome to enter their favorite recipe for soda bread in the Irish Soda Bread Contest, as well as attend “dressed to the greens” to enter the Wearing of the Green contest as well.  Corned beef sandwiches will also be available for purchase.  Parking is available at the parking lot at the St. Mary Academy, as well as on street parking.  For more details, call the parish office 567-3124.
