St. Mary’s believes that a partnership with family, school and church working together is the key to educating the whole child. The student is the core of our academic program, which focuses on the individual needs of each student and encompasses the Diocesan guidelines.
The faculty and staff recognize and understand that student learning is based on prior knowledge and various learning styles and abilities, which encompass the multiple intelligences demonstrated by each student. The faculty and staff also foster enthusiasm for daily and long-term learning by providing experiences which encourage personal growth.
St. Mary’s Academy continually evaluates its educational offering and has, through the years, made changes and additions to benefit its students, as they journey to reach their full potential. Spanish and computer programs have been added to the original curriculum. Programs in physical education, music, health, art and most recently, an enrichment position, have been enhanced by hiring teachers with expertise in these areas.
