St. Mary's Parish Renovations

Join us this Thursday, Sept. 3rd for our “Church Reveal” at 7:30pm: This will be a Service of the Word, not a Mass, in the Church with plenty of time allowed to observe the new paint, lightning, and overall beautiful renovation of our church. Parishioners and friends of the parish are welcome.

Weekend Mass will resume at our newly renovated church the weekend of September 5/6.

Renovation Update: I am thrilled to announce that our renovations are completely on track to finish by the end of next week. Weekend Mass will resume the weekend of September 5/6^th.

As announced in the bulletin, there will be a Church Reveal Celebration on Thursday September 3^rd at 7:30pm in the Church. This will be a Service of the Word (not a full Mass) that will allow parishioners and friends of the parish to be the first to see St. Mary’s renovated.

It will allow time to see the new painting and lightening and beautification of our church.

If you did not donate to our church renovations, you are still most welcome to do so. All donations are gladly accepted as we accomplish these needed renovations of our beautiful church. Weekend Mass and Saturday Confession continues at Bay Path University, Carr Hall. Sincere thanks to all those parishioners and friends of the parish who are attending Mass with us at Bay Path University. Your physical and financial support of our parish family is critically important during these months of renovations. As you read this email, I met today with the general contractor for our church renovations and the scaffolding in our church is scheduled to come down starting next week. It is my hope that weekend Mass will resume in St. Mary’s Church on Sept. 5 /6th .

Renovation Update: As our church renovation continues, there has been a delay. We are currently waiting for lighting fixtures to arrive. We have also decided that while there is extensive scaffolding up, all the stained-glass windows will be professionally cleaned, and a few extra painting details of the ceiling will take place. Following this, it will take about 3 weeks for the scaffolding to be taken down and for the church to be cleaned. Our goal is to be back in the church early September. Please keep this renovation project in your prayers.
